【IT.com.cn武汉报道】据国外网站报道波士顿大学提出开发一种新的无线连接方式 “智能灯”。让我们的LED灯不仅能照亮空间还能通过光线传送数据。它利用人眼察觉不到的闪烁来表示数据传输所必须的0和1。项目研究人员相信此概念灯研究出来后无线传输速度可以达到1Mbps到10Mbps。今后电脑可能不会需要这样的连接,但是一些不能连接到一起的设备可以通过这种方式连接。想想这用LED灯管的“红外”传输设备吧,是不是很奇妙!
原文:"Smart Lighting" is a concept being developed at the university of Boston. The idea is to use LED lights to not only brighten the room, but also to send data to various devices in the light's line of sight. LED lights can flicker (hence creating 0 and 1 necessary to transport digital data) fast enough to be imperceptible by human eyes. The research team working on this project believes that wireless speeds of 1Mbps to 10Mbps can be expected when they get it to work. There's probably no real demand for this on the computers front, but other non-connected devices could be made to be connected this way. Think of it as Infra-Red data transmission with added "LED cool".
